Take Down Tree With Ash Dieback
Northop, Flintshire
To take down and an Ash tree with Ash dieback in the clients back garden and to reduce a hedge to give the customer a good view with more light coming in.
Ash Dieback disease is a fungus that attacks young and old ash trees. It blocks the water transport systems in them causing leaf loss and crown dieback in affected trees. It usually leads to the death of the tree.
If you have an ash tree and you think it might have Ash dieback it's important to get a diagnosis as early as possible.
Take photographs of the leaves and any other affected areas, DO NOT CLIMB the tree, it may not be safe. (You can email them to AGM Tree surgery from our website.)
Because the disease drys out the branches, they can become very brittle and too dangerous to climb. It can also be a danger to the public and property if branches fall or the tree fails completely in high winds. At the later stages it can even be too dangerous for a tree surgeon to climb to dismantle it. They may have to use a crane or other methods to take the tree down depending on it's location and access. This can have increased cost implications - The key is to get a diagnosis as early as possible so you know where you stand.
